including device design,characterization, fabrication processes,
modelling and application in integratedcircuits and optoelectronics.
Specific areas of current interest include:
- Optical waveguide devices in Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) technology
- Metal-Semiconductor-Metal (MSM) photodetectors in Si and Ge films
- Detectors for ionizing radiation based on silicon
integrated circuit technology
Opportunities for Graduate Study
Applications for
graduate study towards Master's and Ph.D. degrees are welcomed
from students graduating in electrical engineering, physics or
related fields interested in the above topics.
